Just had notification of my insurance being renewed, no problem with that at all; it runs on a direct debit.
But, and it's a big but, the documentation runs to 25 pages with a 8 page glossy brochure as well! eeek: ::)
Bring back the day when all I needed was a piece of paper, the certificate of insurance to stick in me wallet alongside me licence and MOT cert. ::)
No wonder the premiums keep going up! evil:

Blame the FSA with their idiotic ICOB regime. Same thing happened with mortgages - MCOB.

Is this MINI the world's most expensive mirror?
(https://www.virtual-pub.com/SMF/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fl.yimg.com%2Fi%2Fng%2Fsh%2Fcarenthu%2F20100330%2F11%2F4216250395-mini-world-s-most-expensive-mirror.jpg%3Fx%3D566%26amp%3By%3D539%26amp%3Bq%3D80%26amp%3Bsig%3DzJJ2d0jojFdnX24j7HmKhw--&hash=3911f1cfc0988f880831272516c693282a1e65e7)
Underneath this amazing mirrored bodywork is a MINI Cooper S. It's a well equipped MINI, granted, but it's so flash that its owners can't get insurance cover.
Ian Grice, a builder from Nottingham, bought the car as a Valentine's gift for his wife Toni. He was so dazzled by it, literally, that he happily paid the ?38,000 asking price when it caught his eye in the showroom.
Without options, the list price for a MINI Cooper S is ?17,000 - meaning the value of the chrome paintjob could be more than the car itself.
But it has caused a massive headache for the couple, because insurance companies won't provide cover, at any cost. Temporary cover was initially provided by the London MINI dealership so it could be driven home by the happy buyers.

Wanker. Obviously charging far too much for repairing brick walls too.
I mean WHO...if anyone apart from this planctron it seems..in their right mind would want that heap of crap anyway, but more to the point WHO wouldn't ring around for an insurance quote on this non standard production heavily (????) modified bellend mobile in the first place, bloody raging great cock. ::)
