From my time of unemployment we have an HC1 form that allows us some help with health cost etc. It runs out on the 4th of June so I thought I would get an eye test and see if I could get some discount on bins as it is due.
Good news is I have now ordered a free pair of bifocals.
On a downside the optician bloke wanted me to go straight to hospital on this lovely Saturday morning.
After a fone call to the hossy it has now been decided to refer via my GP.
Various glaucoma/cataract family history questions were asked, plus the brain tumor questions (its amazing how much medical knowledge you pick up working for a GP) to which the answers were negative.
It pays to go to Specsavers, they scare the shit out of you! happy088
