Title: Lettuce.
Post by: GROWLER on August 28, 2010, 05:24:36 PM
I'm sick to the very back teeth of trying to discuss summat, whilst 'old ded 'ed' goes rambling off on a tangent about something totally unrelated. ::)

Lettuce.
What the blazes is the point of it, apart fro making your dinner plate look like a garden?
It's tasteless, and has virtually no nutritional value worth mentioning.

You could stuff it down your face all day and night long, and still feel unsatisfied, so why do you bother? Shrugs:

Lettuce is also a soporific as anyone who has read Beatrix Potter would know.
Quote
One day the tiny bunnies venture into Mr. MacGregor's rubbish heap. After eating heartily of discarded lettuces, they fall asleep and are discovered by Mr. MacGregor who puts them in his sack to take home
