I know you can't do it with Reader. Trying to download trial version of Acrobat 9 from their website, but it is taking forever. Any tips?

The most promising looking is PDF Xchange Viewer, but I can't get the tool bar to do what I want  evil:

I seem to recall thet there was a package from Nitro that was either free (trial maybe) or cheap, also one from Nuance.
Also v cheap was NikNak - don't know off-hand if this still exists.

Did you download the correct version of open office. V3 allows you ro edit PDF files in its version of powerpoint.  whistle:

I don't know if the same applies to you ... but... when I get any form of text files in I usually save them as raw text and then format them as I wish, i.e. font, size, leading, kerning, removing widows etc to suit the space and format I choose.
