What a farce... ::)
-
Thank the Lord for that.
The last time (1966) we staged the World Cup (and won it!) I got p*ssed and proposed to my first wife. I'd only known her 6 weeks....... Two months later we were married.
I was dreading us getting the vote this time ~ no knowing what might have happened!

No wonder we lost! lol:

Next chance 2030 ... lol: Yippee! By that time I probably won't be giving a toss about anything, if I'm around that is, and making any sense whistle:
-
Let somebody else have the expense and security nightmare... concentrate on winning the bloody thing, not hosting it! evil:
-
Well that only cost £15 million noooo:
-
22 votes were made, we got two. Assuming that we voted for ourselves, only one of the other 21 thought we were worth it ::)

My feelings in a nut shell.
Oh and you make sense to me ~ but then again maybe we're both whacky115

I see we have taken losing this thing well noooo:.
So the system for awarding this 'prize' seems open to persuasion . As it has been for a long, long time. I am assuming we would have forgotten all about this had we been successful.
So perhaps it's best to argue for change prior to you putting in a bid not when you have just lost and you want your ball back noooo:
-
We should have just bribed everybody.

We should have just bribed everybody.
That does seem to be the winning tactic
