Title: Only in the Grauniad
Post by: Nick on July 22, 2007, 07:51:23 AM
Poor dears are producing some supplements this summer "to tempt us out of our houses"

Quote
On August 4, our swimming supplement will reveal the best in outdoor bathing, from wild rivers to Britain's hidden pools and lidos.

A lot of folks won't need to leave their houses to do that!"

Source: Environment agency.

If there is a return to very hot, dry weather for the rest of the summer, there is a small risk of restrictions in early autumn for some areas in England and Wales. However such continued dry weather through the rest of the summer and into the autumn is unlikely.

Was the ban ever lifted down in Kent and surrounding areas anyway?
I never heard about it if it was. confused:

If it was the Grauniad, it probably should have read...

"... Britain's hidden pools and Lidls."

It would be if one choose to enlighten him. This way he keeps shouting it and the neighbours think he is an insensitive sod!  point:
