I used to police the 'Manic Mile' run at Upton St Leonards. Idiots running and cycling up a very steep hill. I didn't take much notice of the runners, it was more entertaining turning the locals away as I had to close the road. They were not impressed...snobby gits, it only happened once a year for about an hour or so...
