Serious advice:
Grow bags work well but Tomatoes are a sod to grow, need watering daily and never seem to ripen properly without a greenhouse.

All other stuff will grow in pots, planters etc.

Remember that which looks small when you plant it can grow very large so don't over-crowd your tubs. Courgettes for example grow like buggery and a couple of plants will all crop at the same time so you end up with feast or famine.

Best way to obtain good plants is to beg, borrow, steal from other gardeners.

Miss C is not the only one with "Green Fingers" angel1

CEANOTHUS aren't bad.
They have dark green foliage all year round & blue flowers in the Spring/Summer.
The larger the pot the larger it will grow.

Of the 3 seed experiments...

Basil √ (sprouting nicely)

Coriander √ (ditto)

Parsley  tunble:

Aha! (Edit)
Quote
Start seeds indoors, about 4 to 6 weeks before your last spring frost date. Plant seeds to a depth of 6 mm (1/4 inch). Seedlings usually emerge in 15 to 21 days.

That might explain the delay  rubschin:
