The Brat has been doing my fruitloaf in the past 24 hours .
We had the whole time of the month miserableness yesterday when she rolls around and tries to get the day off school. Take some pain killers and move around a bit , I find cleaning your filthy feckin bedroom helps I suggest . She finds cocooning herself in her duvet is her appropriate remedy.
Then late last night she gets cramp in her calf muscles. FFS she was wailing like a banshee and so I go in there , am massaging her leg , flexing it and stretching it etc whilst she is screaming blue bloody murder. This morning she has got up and is limping around like a lame horse . Move around and get ready for school that will help I suggest .
"I can't walk" she screams at me , you don't understand how painful this is noooo:
Of course not Banghead Banghead Banghead

"Growing pains"
See also allergy to soap and water.

I wonder if my defence lawyer will consider that evil:
-
I hope you were bending the foot back with her toes towards her shin, and not pulling the foot forward?
point:
-
Had a hoooge argument with her this morning declaring she was going to school.
Half an hour into my walk to the tube as a water main has burst, traffic is going nowhere and the sky is emptying it's contents, I get a message from the school to say its closed due to not having any water Banghead

My two, by my first marriage, were somewhat older than the Brat when their mother and I divorced but, although they both cheerfully accepted that I had, whilst separated from their mother, acquired an girlfriend and ultimately married her they were horrified that 'Mum' should have any male friends, go on dates etc. One of the reasons that my daughter was sent to live with us was that her mother complained constantly that the child (then 16) was interfering with her love life and rejected totally any male friends she had.
My son (then 18) summed it up in thus "It's OK for dad to have a new lover BUT Mum's just can't! It's not right"
It seemed that both children thought this and that our daughter made sure that her feelings were known to all by her behaviour ... although she never put it into words and still won't admit to it despite the fact she is now coming up to her 41st birthday and has herself divorced her daughter's father and eventually, after a number of boyfriends, remarried.
I suspect that a part of her/your problem is teenage angst and part as above. A very toxic mix as I discovered.

The Brat knows nothing about any of that and this will only be discussed with her if or when there is anything to discuss.
I have no doubt that it will be totally unacceptable but then the fact that I'm breathing causes her most angst much of the time !
