I know we all take the mick out of Nick, me included, and probably the main instigator, but I'd just like to say a BIG thank you to him for a splendid 24 hours in Nottingham.
A most marvelous time was had being shown the sights and his 'flat 'ill' today lol:
I can also confirm that his home grown Brocolli is the best I've ever tasted.
Cheers matey, a weekend that I'll remember, including the lack of a promised home made CAKE. cry:
-
YAY cloud9: You are back!! HOw was the A6?

Lovely to speak to you Mr G
and good to see you back

Slow , but on the plus side, I therefore had time to observe the magnificent views whilst crawling along at 15 mph behind a heavily laden hay wagon.
That brocolli really was magnifecent btw. I'm going to grow some now too.
You can grow some CAKE. whistle:
-
I am picking up the cake first thing cloud9: cloud9: It is freezeable Miss C? I could save
half a bit for when Growler next visits, like
-
Nice work Nick, and I echo what Miss C said, but in a deeper voice, "well said Growler"
Good to see the bear back in here, see you stick around

Welcome back you moth-eaten old rug you. ;)

He brought me the moth eaten rug, like cussing:

Thanks everyone, but really, no fuss please. I'm just a simple old grizzly that likes to moan.
Miss D & C. It was nice to speak to you both on the owld dog 'n' bone' too. ;)
Several off the top of my head observations:
Sorry for my diy on your chair not going too well btw Nick. ::)
Hammer, on reflection, was problee not the best option. ::)
Marmite should be spread 'thinly', per jar instructions, not like flamin' jam btw, ::)
Your car IS actually a disgrace, and try parking by vision rather than sound. ::)
Good film choice.
Super corned beef hash. Excellent chef, but can't vouch for CAKE sadly. whistle:
Excellent walk/hike/mission today.
Love the waterside 'hutches/sheds, and actually felt quite privelidged to share your childhood experiences and places that you so obviously enjoyed. I could almost visualise the fun you had from your vivid and colurful descriptions of life in your nipper and yoofulness.
Loved the caf and coffee @ 80p a mug.
Excellent and most interesting commentary on some of the history of Nottingham.
Shame some of the neighbours had to kick off last night creating a feeling of anxiousness for my 'baby' parked outside.
I'll be back. eeek:
-
That Marmitey toast is still there intact redface:. Even the pigeons won't touch it noooo:
