The facts given suggest that inaccurate employee information supplied by employers accounts for less than 700 hundred errors in HMRC supplying incorrect tax codes to the employer/employee.
Fair enough I guess but it doesn't explain how they manage to send out several thousand incorrect tax codes every year.
