The All New Good Service Thread

It is all too easy to slag-off companies that provide poor service - plenty of examples of it on here!  lol:

But sometimes it is nice to recommend companies that provide good service!  Thumbs:

Sadly, some examples of good service are actually not that good - but our expectations are often so low that when something turns out right we are surprised.  lol:

I ordered a new funnel from Amazon the other week (for me beer making like). When it arrived there was a filter missing from it (the reason I'd ordered it).

On their web site it is very simple to click on the product and complain about it. I did so and immediately got a returns number and a link for printing off the shipping labels.

I sent it back and got a message yesterday that they were processing it. Today I got a credit for the full value of the product and the inbound and outbound shipping costs...

I'm very impressed with them!  cloud9:

Amazon are a company that does indeed provide excellent customer service ...... Pity they don't pay any taxes on what they earn in the UK  evil:

Fair play to them if they can get away with it - starve the best!  Thumbs:

EasyJet  eeek:

Have been very impressed with them and now use them over Cyprus Airways and BA.

When my flight was delayed last year (inbound flight delayed by broken runway lights and tardy loading at Gatwick) they turned the flight round in double-quick time.

I e-mail them top congratulate them on the performance and they were very pleased to hear from a satisfied customer!  lol:

I also asked them about their routing into Pafos airport and they went to great lengths to get a definitive answer from the head pilot...  Thumbs:

easyJet don't do the loading bit...

Making up lost time on longish routes like Pafos is relatively easy to do. Lose half an hour on a Belfast spin, though, and you cannot get it back.

easyJet are pretty good, though - and they have the newest fleet out there.

They made up a huge amount on the turnaround - we were literally waiting on the apron to board when the aircraft rolled to a halt - they cleaned it in double-quick time.
