Dear Sir / Madame:
With great pleasure we announce the establishment of the First Cyprus Historic and Classic Motor Museum. Located in Limassol in a spacious 1000 square meters, you will admire the inside collection of 70 historic and classic cars while outdoors there are old buses and the first agricultural tractor used in Cyprus.
The museum is a new and exciting tourist attraction for Cyprus. Visitors can admire the museum’s eclectic collection of cars covering the period of the last century. The oldest car in the collection at the moment is a Ford T roadster from 1912, which currently has 102 years of life on the road. The newest vehicle is a collectible piece from 2004. The collection includes the armoured presidential «Cadillac» donated by the U.S. government and built especially for the President Makarios III in 1977. You will appreciate one of the Rover P5 cars of 1973 used by the “Iron Lady” Margaret Thatcher, previous Prime Minister of the UK. Also, officially certified, is the famous green «Mini» with the lock on the side well known from Mr. Bean’s movies. Each visitor will enjoy a different yet memorable experience learning the progress of these vehicles over their lifetime.
A film about the history of the car is included with each visit to the museum.
