Ok ...sometimes we arrange pre/post wedding parties ..we get a small commission ..and most times the Dj work ...so got an enquiry today for 60 people ...the place we usually use is booked ..so call another place where we do weddings..

they want 500 euro venue fee before food and drinks ... eeek: eeek: eeek: (still open to public so not private )..

now this place is open to the public ..so really they could all just go along and sit together and order food from the menu ... noooo:    noooo:

As reported before, when the late Mrs Nick and I got married we went to that hotel on Richmond Hill (petersham?) and just booked a family lunch for about 30 people in a private room.

Job done

When they found out it was a wedding they went ballistic  eveilgrin:

Tough shit.Cost 700 snotters in those days. Would have been three times that if the W word had been mentioned  angel1
