Whole big story here about registars ..... noooo: noooo: noooo:
Popcorn:

Originally civil ( ;D ) weddings had to be performed by Major or deputy major ..there are 6? in Paphos area ..so with upto 20 weddings a day 5 days this was impossible ..

So they employed wedding registars .. Thumbs:  about 7 for Paphos ...all worked well ..(they travel to venues not just town hall)..quite professional ...The Majors are power junkies ..and made weddings wait for them !!  I have even seen major lit a ciggie the second he finished in front of Bn G .. ;D....another bought their screaming crotch goblin to one .. noooo: noooo:

No one is sure why they have done it ..cash cow etc ..it will limit amount of weddings here .. rubschin: rubschin: noooo:  killing the golden goose ..
Ta

So just to check, you saying they've stopped using registrars because the Grafia were losing out?

Not sure ..all gubberment wallers .. rubschin:  some power thing ..???

The venues and hotels have got together to complain .. Thumbs:

They will lose serious dough ... noooo:
