Dr Reid has announced he will stand down at the next election.
Well I guess it's better than being kicked out. 
This it getting to be a habit. There is a steady stream now that appear, wreak havoc, wield power ,rape the country and decimate the economy then disappear over the horizon to enjoy all the wealth and goodies they have collected in happy obscurity.
Jock Reid wanted to be Prime Minister yesterday now he wants out. It proves beyond doubt (to me anyway) that there has never been any question of 'serving' only grabbing everything he can and running. Just like all the other new professional politicians.
And they wonder why we don't trust them...
