Reminded the Boy that it will be 20 years tomorrow that he arrived en famille.

He called for a chat and I informed, rather than reminded him, of events as he was only three at the time.  We laughed a lot, especially about the Sunday morning 6.30 a.m. breakfast  NickSick  where he demanded Coco Pops of which we had none.

I was reminded of an earlier event.

When we were still in London we had applied to adopt and got what is called "The First Home Visit" from some wretched social worker. She explained that they did criminal records checks and that couples may want to "reflect on this in case they have anything to reveal to one another"!  I said fine. She stared at me and said "For example, you look like a man who went to university." I caught the gist and said, "Yes, but I never inhaled." FFS, both Mrs NIck and I WORKED in universities!  She turned us down. I assume that she too went to a university.

The Boy was incredulous.

We went through the events of the TEN DAYS between him being allocated to us and him moving in. There was a lot to do!! NickSick eeek: eeek:
