Energy prices and general misery: a possible solution
« on: August 27, 2022, 07:39:55 PM »
I want to go to Spain in October, probably Cadiz. Cheap flight and an Air BnB. There are some nice places at about £100 a week in winter  rubschin:

Why not go for three months? Switch off everything at home so no bills. SORN the car. Go out each day to local restaurants and markets. Cheap fags and booze, work on my Spanish, Winter sunshine. AND get all the additional government cash and fuel payments to pay for it rubschin:

What can go wrong?

When I first moved here loads of OAPs used to do that here ...one hotel had 3 month offers ...one apartment I lived in, previously the couple rented ALL year just to spend winters here ..... Thumbs:  they reckoned at the time still cheaper... rubschin:
