I'm still not sure ~ nothing can replace a real book but I can see that being useful, if your eyes can stand it.

They never dry off properly but at least it's only ?7.99 down the drain.

The printing is still perfectly readable, the pages don't get longer or wider ~ just thicker ............. Baffled me for years  rubschin:

Technology has come on quite a bit in the last 14 years (14!) but nothing compares to a real book. Admittedly my eyes aren't what they used to be so variable font size would be handy.

I have a kindle fire so it may be different but if you tap the screen twice while you have an ebook open on the kindle app then tap the Aa icon at the top and you should see a font selection screen and a font size slider.

I used to think the same...

I got the Kindle Paperwhite Signature and a case...

It is about the size and weight of a book and actually I don't miss the book 'feel' with it...

Plus my books used to come from the UK (Amazon) which can take weeks... I just downloaded my latest book* in a few seconds...
