No. 2 daughter has a Mercedes SLK which is clearly a Freitag nachmittag model.

It has had a variety of bits fall off or stop working.

The latest one today is that it has thrown some electronic wobbly and gone native, it won't go over 50MPH and the little screen says "Achtung!" and some other stuff she couldn't pronounce. ::)

It will be goose-stepping back to the main dealer in the morning for the latest denial about never having seen one do that before. evil:

Perhaps a trip to the Nissan showroom ist in ordnung?
I mostly despair

I think I mentioned elsewhere that I had a C180 that did that...

Apparently detects a tiny amount of metal waste in the gearbox oil and assumes the whole car is about to self-destruct.  noooo:

Even the Merc. main stealer mechanics reckon that the marque is generally shite now. eeek:

I still reckon that they make the sweetest diesel engine though, closely followed by bmw sadly. ::)

What about the latest generation of Honda diesels eh? They seem pretty sweet to me - almost undetectable as diesels.
"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!
