Why is it that when my PC or the Intermong (or both) are having a bad day and performing at the speed of a sloth on Valium I make disproportionately more mistakes requiring me to re-do most of the things I type in? 

 Bizarrely, in such circumstances hitting the keys harder doesn’t seem to help at all…
