HMG's efforts aside the real crime here is that so much time and effort was wasted arresting and prosecuting this woman while one part of the country is suffering the most awful events…

You could argue that HMG would have been better off sending people over to sort out the genocide rather than releasing one woman from jail (or house arrest as it turns out) but that would still be irrelevant…

As I said in earlier posts – this is a disgusting regime in a foetid country – the UK should pull out all aid workers, remove its monetary aid and let them slide back to the dark ages.

As for our own efforts, it is the twenty-first century now and we have seen the error of our ways – that’s the big difference…

You are right, of course. Now if they followed our path to democracy they too could have ten years of Tony Blair, followed by Gordon Brown and that would serve them right!
