Ok getting vaguely back on subject again, one of my younger cousins was given 'Gears of War' for his computer for Christmas. The only PC game I have ever heard of that requies you to have an active internet connection and a valid Windows Live account to be able to save while playing the single player game offline.
What is the problem I hear you ask, he doesnt have an internet connection and can't justify paying for one just to play a single game.
Anti piracy my arse, This is Microsoft snaring people to get the basic account so that they can hound them about upgrading to the premium pay service.
