Female logic, can anyone explain this one to me?
« on: January 24, 2008, 10:52:22 AM »
Where I live opens out onto a fairly narrow street so when people park there I tend to have problems getting out. A couple of days ago some dozy bint decided to park an MPV right in front of my gate blocking me in entirely. I caught her when she got back to drive away and politely explained that I'd been blocked in, only to be told that it wasnt her fault that I'd been trapped by her car.

Who's fault was it then, I've checked the wall outside and there isnt a sign saying free parking to ignorant dozy bints just as long as I get blocked in so how can it not be her bleedin fault?  rubschin:

I don't know what to say. The only thing I can think of is that possibly it is the fault of the person who parked in her normal space? But that is reaching for an explanation.  redface:

Havent seen her before so its safe to assume she doesnt live on the street. It is fairlt convenient for the city centre though so people tend to use my street as well as the others nearby for free parking

No defense for this silly person (female or male it doesn't matter) she (in this instance) was rude and obviously thinking  only her own convenience  evil:

We used to live near Windsor Race Course (many moons ago) and barstewards would regularly opt to park in our road (about 300 yards from the race course entrance) rather than pay the then 75p charge to park in the race course car park. Okay so money saving aside it was a bummer for those of us who were then trying to find a place in the road we lived in when arriving home from a busy day - I flipped one day when someone (like your dizzy bint) decided because my car was at home on our drive they HAD the RIGHT to park right across it - blocking me in!

What if I'd had a medical emergency - what if I'd needed to pop off down to the shops - I was  cussing: soooooooooooooooooo I went indoors, got two large sheets of A4 paper on which I wrote a thank you note to them for blocking me in - pasted the back of each with flour water mustard and anything else I could find that would make a sticky mess and slapped it right in the middle of the drivers screen view and then ALSO taped them down with copious amounts of sticky tape..............

Then sat by the window, peering out through the bottom of the curtains and awaited their return

THEY WERE SUPRSIED and embarrassed enough to drive off without removing (bet they had to do it a little way down the road though) and they NEVER parked across our drive again..........

Don't mess with me - eh  noooo:
