The Greatest Britain, vote now:

Maggie Thatcher
Robbie Williams
Paul McCartney
Lizzie Queen
Julie Walters (or Andrews lost the will to care)

Feck Off!

A couple of points, who decided the nominees?  Two average musicians, two murderers (one of which a Kraut) and an actress.

Secondly Kate Thornton (getting increasingly annoying but still would) announced that we could vote by phone.   Be careful though once the lines close your vote wont count but you will still be charged.   Er, what?  Is this the new law passed after you ripping off people to the tune of millions.   Put a decent system in place, no don't be silly just be a little more subtle.

BTW the German won  surrender:

Ranulph is ok, 7 marathons in 7 days is impressive, bet he couldn't do deep fried mars bars though!

David Beckham with the Ferrero Rochet FFS, who was second, Blair?

Bearing in mind that British diplomacy overseas seems to entail dropping soldiers into unfriendly territory is that really a surprise?

Plus you are talking about people stupid enough to take part in an ITV phone vote which means that anyone who would legitimately deserve the titles or at least a position in the top 5 would be knackered to start with.
