I had my "Stage 1" formal redundancy meeting this morning.

Option 1. Move to the "new" office 110 miles away. 
Option 2. Move to another part of the company. 
Option 3. Take the redundancy cash and spend it on fine wine, women and song 

No dates confirmed yet, but I'll hazard a guess that it is likely to be before Christmas. If I can get out at the end of July and then be re-employed on a contractor basis (with the pay scale to suit  ) then all the better. There are so many things I do (like Tel did) that aren't documented and aren't in my job description, that when it all goes elsewhere, there are likely to be so many problems that they will happily do so. Or else they'll be fu(ked.
