I was in America back in February, snowed in, in fact, in a little place (if there is such a thing in America) called New Berlin, close to Milwaukee. I was lukcy (or unclucky) enough to share the lift with the cleaner one day, now being English and living in Rotterdam, I guess I might be quite cosmopolitan, but anyway this cleaner guy must have released there were a number of non American staying in the hotel, and said to me: "so ya all come from Wisconsin then?" "No" say I, "I come from England, "so" says he, "ya all flew here from England?" "No", say I "I all flew here from Holland", "Holland" says he, "where is that?" "The Netherlands" say I, "The Netherlands" says he, "where's that?"
"Well" say I, "it's a small country real close to Germany", ""so that is over seas then?" says he.
Worrying, very worrying
