Looks like a done deal then

British Energy (1/3 owned by the British Government) have accepted an "improved" offer from EDF (85% owned by the French Government) which will leave EDF with the pick of the nuclear power stations and choice of sites for four new ones.

This is apparently a "good thing" according to Gordon Brown

If EDF is 85% state owned doesnt that as good as make this priivatisation by a foreign government?
