Crinmbo tip list
« on: December 23, 2008, 09:54:42 AM »
Who's going to be recieving a slice of your 'hard earned' this year then?

Postman here, for his pleasant and genuine smile, and never ending trudge down our path over the last 12 months, delevering mountains of car manufacturers brochures for Growler jnr. ::)
My local offy and butty shop for all the vicious insults (banter) hurled from both sounds of the counter to brighten up our otherwise miserable days. All wimmen too I hasten to add. happy088

That's about it from me. You lot?

Ditto. The Boy has just insisted on posting his Santa letter up the chimbley. I think this is going to be our last Santa Christmas  sad24:

No bugger gets a tip from me for doing his job.

Mind you the milkman and window cleaner are self employed, as is my barber, so they are hardly "wage slaves" who need a tip to encourage/reward them. It is in their interests to give a good service if they wish to retain my custom. As for the Postie ~ We see a different one every other week, this being a training round so they can feck off.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

That is so sad.  sad24:

We kept up the pretense for years. Both parents and kids. In fact we still had sacks up until the year my Dad died. We'd put them out, they'd get filled, great fun of will he come, has he been.  noooo: Never been quite the same since.

Postie gets one because he is good with dealing with signed for packages for me, lunch place gets one because I occasionally get freebies, corner shop and cab firm get them because they allow me to run a tab. I'm not talking massive amounts, just a small, tiny in fact amount of palm greasing.

Santa is a useful agent of control.  eveilgrin:

He leaves a letter every year in which he insists on the consumptionof breakfast before presents are opened and makes swingeing demands in relation to behaviour, homework, piano practice and suchlike. He is obeyed  eveilgrin:

Mine all keep up the pretence because, they claim, "Mummy believes and we don't want to spoil it for her".
The answer lies in your own hands Nick. It all depends how you explain it to him ~ when he confronts you with it.

We were told that bad childrens parents had to pretend for them so they didn't feel left out.

That's fair enough, and i would be of the same thought, BUT our postie is a really nice bloke who has had to endure extreme amounts of post for his lordship this year, well beyond the bounds of reasonabilty imo.

The binnies can piss right off, bunch of lazy unhelpful bastards. cussing:
