However, it is sad that the best the BBC can do it remake a classic series like Perrin... is there no writing talent within the company that can come up with an original theme...?

IMHO most telly these days is about as entertaining as watching your own shite.  noooo:

It was repeated on Saturday like
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

 rubschin: There could be money in that idea ~ you should forget the shower and get on with the time machine. Whenever you felt a bit .... err ..... whiffy you could transport yourself back to when you were last clean AND watch old episodes of TV programmes at the same time.
