Remakes

This looks interesting. Always one of my favourite Science fiction films so I shall go and have a look.

Mind you Reeves has hardly got the gravitas (not the mention that wonderful voice) of Michael Rennie.

Still, at the very least there will be some good special effects to gawp at in the cinema they just opened here. (you can get pissed at your (massive) seat, yipee!)

Doesn't Edward Judd stare at the sky a lot in that one?

If you like remakes TG have a look on Lovefilm and see if they have the new Battlestar Galactica. I've got the first 3 seasons of it and its a corking show.
The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.

Its one of the best shows I've seen recently Darwin. And as soon as the whole of season 4 comes out I'm grabbing it.

I am sure it is very good and I shall watch out for it.

The term "corking" was what caught my eye.

A properly descriptive term, and not used often enough in my opinion.

Like 'spiffing' and 'scrumptious'.

Finally watched this. Worth a look but only if you beg, borrow or steal it.

Reeves is dull, effects and set pieces average. Gort was a disappointment.

GM stylee review : No shagging.

I've always liked the word "Capital" when used as an adjective but I don't have Robert Hardy's arrogance to use it much  redface:

See also: "Monumental", "Exemplary" and "Top-Hole".

The latter has to be used with care in an agricultural community as it can indicate a fundamental lack of understanding with animal husbandry.
