Nakedness at airports

A trial of a scanner that produces "naked" images of passengers has begun at Manchester Airport.

The authorities say it will speed up security checks by quickly revealing any concealed weapons or explosives.

But the full body scans will also show up breast enlargements, body piercings and a clear black-and-white outline of passengers' genitals.

Those poor staff that have to see this ...I hope they're  getting a pay rise  lol:

I heard this on the news this morning.  Some people were saying that it was an infringement of civil liberties.  I for one would rather have an x ray taken than have some spotty tosser patting me up/down/all over.  That is something that I really don't like.
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

It could have been much worse, BM could have landed at Manchester.  I doubt any amount of counselling could have helped with that level of trauma eeek:

They couldn't even get the bastard iris scanner to work at Heathrow today (which somewhat defeats the object of registering) so the chances of this X-Ray malarkey working are quite slim IMHO...  noooo:
