"Annoyingly" resolved ~ I have found the missing CDRs which had slipped down the back of a bookcase in my office.
In the meantime Minimus' laptop suffered a terminal failure (prolly due to me poking about in it) and Big Pockets replaced it FOC. His new one arrived this morning and an hour later I found the missing CDs so he is now back on line and very happy.
