What feckin' planet do these judges live on?
« on: January 20, 2010, 07:12:17 PM »
This animal is a persistant violent sex offender and you REDUCE his sentence? Just what kind of inbred mouthbreathing moron are you? How the hell can you say that seven years is too long, this bastard should never be let out of his cell ever again. You even overturned the licence period for when he is released. Do you have any idea what is going to happen when he finished his sentence or do you just not give a toss about anyone who isnt a part of your little circle of friends!

Unbefeckinlievable  Angry9:

Quote
A sex attacker who admitted violent assaults on three women in Nottingham has had his jail sentence reduced by judges at the Court of Appeal.

Nooroz Khan, 27, formerly of Kimberley Street, Sneinton, was jailed at Nottingham Crown Court in March for the attacks around Christmas 2006.

The court heard he bit the face of one 16-year-old victim when she screamed.

Mr Justice Beatson said his seven-year sentence was "too long" and reduced it to six years at the Appeal Court.

A two-year extended license period originally imposed was also overturned.

Victims traumatised

The court heard Khan "persistently" targeted women and hassled them to give him their phone numbers before assaulting them when they refused.

Khan was arrested a year after the attacks over a matter related to his immigration status.

Police matched a DNA swab taken from him to one taken from the face of the teenager who was bitten.

Mr Justice Beatson said Khan, whose address is now given as Grosvenor Road, Eastwood, Rotherham, left all three victims traumatised, lacking in confidence and unable to leave the house as often as before.

In addition, women in the area at the time had been scared for their safety.

He said: "Despite the undoubted seriousness of these offences, we have however concluded that a totality of seven years' imprisonment is too long.

"We consider that, with regard to the level of violence and persistence, the total sentence should be one of six years.

"We do not consider that an extended period of licence was warranted and therefore this sentence is to be a conventional one."

The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.
