Orange flashing lights.
« on: May 25, 2011, 08:05:33 PM »
Lexmark X6570  has been gathering dust for 2 years almost, cos when switched on the orange light flashes and flashes and something inside sounds like it keeps hitting the buffers.

Any ideas anyone or shall I send it to landfill and start again?

Annoying it was £100 and has produced about 15 pages of copied material and scanned about 5.

Printers are like dogs that bite. Once they go bad they need to be put down.

My vote is for landfill and dont buy an inkjet in future

It needs 240 volts and 13 amps...The power from a lamppost is reduced these days due to global warning and will not be enough to run it... ;)

I vote landfill...

I've just dumped two HP printers that stopped working or insisted that they had no cartridges...  ::)

They've been gathering dust for a while 'pending repair'...  redface:

Oh I like the way your mind werks Miss D but that sounds like too much effort.  Computer engineer reckons landfill too but has taken away a second laptop to repair instead.  I will be a two laptop person and will be able to surf in stereo.  lol:

And to answer your question... dusters mostly.  ;D
