Accept anything that is free ~ what have you to lose?

Just don't give them your credit card details; some of these people ask for credit card info and use it at the end of the "free period" leaving it up to you to cancel the "renewal".

Nah, they didn't ask for it.
I'm going to ring their NON technical helpline now to see if I can find out how to get back onto my new currently empty website.
Their home page is most unhelpful, but hey ho, what can you expect for nowt?

Nice man (NOT India either) told me that because I hadn't 'published' it, it's not registered, and that therefore means i haven't actually completed the full task.
So I've got to go through all the process again, hey ho.

Very simple website now up and running.

I'll gradually add some piccies and alter things around a bit, but it'll do for now at least, and hasn't cost me a penny either!

For those that already wanted and had the old addy and want a blimp just change it from .net to .co.uk.
