The sympathetic lean in
« on: April 22, 2010, 08:03:25 AM »
I was watching the local news last night  and they were talking of some heart bleeding story or another ...run live VT  of said no-marks angst about against closure of the local toilet or something .....cut back to presenters and their it is.....the head lean in   Banghead Banghead Banghead

FFS sit up straight and present the show.....I don't want to see some blokes head on his co- presenters shoulders unless he is seriously trying to canoodle her.

Pretending you are affected by some story also doesn't wash.

Male presenter ( Donal McIntyre) tilting his head and almost resting it on the shoulder of Katy Derham .

London local news  ...if it is available to you just watch it and see. He's almost curled up  to her on occassions  noooo:

But totally unprofessional surely  rubschin:

It does not appear endearing, or more understanding or that you are more sympathetic  to some poor sod  if you have listened to their story and then start tilting your head at 45 degreee angles before speaking in response  noooo:

Here on Welsh BBC the news reader and the weather man were known to be living together as Man and  ..........errrr .......... Man. Sexual Chemistry crackled around the news room every evening BUT then it all went horribly wrong and the Weatherman ran off with another man and the Newreading Man was bereft. All very harrowing but the show must go on. Venomous glances and very abrupt handovers became the order of the day. A year later they still share a newsroom but never sit on the same settee.
