The Cuts
« on: May 24, 2010, 06:33:14 AM »
?6 billion today, we are told and that is just the start. Some shocking figures on the wireless. Over 500 government call centres that have never, um, received a call  noooo:

One wonders what will go next. A personal bleat is that 2 of my clients have been abolished with several more to come  noooo:

It'll get worse before it gets better  noooo:

Time perhaps to refocus your business plan.

Certainly the known cuts in "Education in the Community" have already ensured that SWWLTBO has less work next year ~ we have started on a "refocus" exercise.

And Sian Williams is peddling the usual BBC bias as we speak.

Indeed ~ The BBC is a classic case of "I'm all right Jack"

But seriously ~ when I referred to the "known cuts" these are the ones that Labour had already imposed on Higher and Further Education .... nowt to do with the new coalition.

Labour/Plaid coalition in Wales had already decided that funding which was to cease at the end of the current academic year. More will no doubt follow now that they know Cardiff will have no bargaining power in Westminster.

If it is anything like most Labour Government contracts you could end up doing no more than submitting an invoice for a hooge cancellation charge.
