So ~ when George Osborne gets round to asking what we want and how we would like them to save money what will be on our lists?

My lists will include:

Must Go
1) At least 60% of NHS management
2) Unfettered immigration from all over including "new" EU Member Companies
3) All Council CEOs (replace them with good old fashioned Town Clerks on 1/3 of the salary)
4) All "Diversity Officers" and holders of similar non jobs
5) All Quangos irrespective of purpose. After one year see which ones we really did need and reinstate them at 1/3 cost
6) All non police officers employed by police forces ~ stop early retirement for police officers and let those too old or ill to perform full duties earn their pensions by manning the switch boards, front desks etc and doing all the admin (just the way it was done in my Granddad's day) That way whenever you call at the nick or phone them you get a real copper who knows what's what.
7) All non teaching staff from schools. 52 kids in my class and we all achieved decent O Level grades .... why the f*** do we now need an adult for every other child and have half the kids leaving school unable to read and write??

How to get unemployed into work;
1) We all know about the benefit trap whereby those on the dole get as much as they would for accepting a job and we all know that immigrants are doing jobs that those on the dole say are not worth their while doing. Simple solution. Pay them their dole + minimum wage to work and tax them on the combined income. As they become more proficient increase their pay and reduce their benefits. This will clearly save money in the longer term and help reduce the dependence on immigrants that labour have built into the system. We will no longer need to provide health services, housing, child benefits etc to all those immigrants which equals an instant saving.
2) Recognise that we will never achieve full employment but we will get closer to it only when there are more vacancies than job seekers.
3) Accept that not every child is suitable to go to university and teach them other skills. Learn to value these skills. Any company can employ cheaper labour to give advice down a phone line from India but you can't mend a broken boiler at that distance so train plumbers, builders, carpenters, hairdressers, bus drivers et al. These jobs cannot be outsourced but without our own children to do them we will be more than ever dependant upon immigrants.
4) Accept that we need our children and reinstate the tax relief on having them. They are the ones who will be supporting us in our old age. The foreigners only send the money back to their country of origin to support their elderly.

Must support with proper remuneration:
1) Farmers, particularly dairy farmers who currently get 20 pence a litre for the milk they supply which is exactly what it costs them to produce. Supermarkets are charging 69 pence a litre. It ain't all transport costs which is why we are losing 7 dairy farmers a week. That's one every day. Most milk and milk products sold in the UK now comes from France or Holland.
2) Fuck "Fair Trade" right out of the door. Fair Trade is charity and that should start at home. (Tho' in truth "Fair Trade" is not a charity any longer just another business rip off) Fair Trade our own Farmers ~ even the Turnip growers (I hate turnips)
3) The Royal Family (or at least the Monarch) who does more for this country than a thousand others. The Queen costs us each 69 pence a year through the Civil List. The money that her grandfather gave over to the treasury (income from the Crown Estates) in return brings into the Government's coffers £190m per annum.
4) Pensioners and the handicapped (since I qualify on one count and in a couple of years on both counts I'll say no more but I still put what I can into society)

Just a start you understand ~ I'm sure with a little thought I can come up with more.
