Although saw a beautiful FELT on the net last night ?500, sounds cheap to me.

I'd never heard of Felt bikes so I had to look it up, I'm now a little wiser

My current bike cost me ?125, the one before that ?99 IIRC. I was in Halfords yesterday and while waiting was looking at the bikes...?199.... ?300.... ?500  eeek: , ?799  eeek:  eeek: , ?1100  eeek:  eeek:  eeek: , ?1599  eeek:  eeek:  eeek:  eeek: . I could never justify that outlay for a bike, who can, and what do they get for the extra ???'s

I would love to discuss this with you but I have now consumed 4 very large glasses of Cabernet Sauvingnan(?) You spell it, and am rowing at 8 a.m.  Need to sleep now.  Goodnight everyone. surrender:
It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.

SWWLTBO has never actually learned to ride a bike so feeling in need of exercise (what is it with middle aged wimmin?) she decided she should get a second hand machine and accompany the boys when they go out on theirs.
For fairly obvious and previously stated reasons I can no longer ride a cycle so I was looking at an electric scooter which I now have.
Anywhoooo SWWLTBO really could not get on with this bicycling malarkey. She fell off a number of times and was, frankly, a danger to herself and other road users so in a moment of inspiration I bought her an adult tricycle. What a revelation! She speeds round the lanes leaving all in her wake. Brilliant machine. 6 gears parking brakes and a very comfortable saddle (another of her complaints about "ordinary" bikes.)
Bloody good investment at ?400.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.
