Mobile phone dumbness!

Was on the blower to my sister earlier and I got the low battery bleep noise. At the end of the call I plugged the phone into the charger and it sort of squawked and went dead. Tried all kinds of rescusitation, but nothing. IN a panic I fled to Tesco and bought a replacement (£15). Got back and checked the old phone which had charged up and was werking perfick.  redface:

So, I have a new phone that I don't really need, but it is lighter and nicer than the old one. I can transfer the SIM card, but there is a pile of shite on the old one I want to keep. Is there some cable or other I can use to transfer number, pictures etc from the old phone to the new one?

Nick:

1. Go onto ebay and search for the data cable for your old phone (eg Nickia 999 data cable  whistle: )
2. If your nnew phone is the same make as the old one install the data suite thace comes with it on your PC. If not download it.
3. Connect your phone up & follow the instrctions to copy the data to your PC
4. Connect your newphone to the PC & follow the instructions transfer the data onto it

Growler you arent an idiot, you have a practical attitude towards technology. As long as it does its job you cant be bothered with the flashy technofuckery.
