At some point I'm going to have to go and see them just for the experience of having my eardrums blasted by 1000 musicians.

Considering it all started with a group of Foo Fighters fans all getting together to play a track to convince them to perform at their town it's been an impressive journey.

I'd heard of Dogstar a while back but I never realised Keanu Reeves played bass  eeek:

This won't be to everyone's taste but Linkin Park are back. Don't know who the new singer is but she sounds like a solid successor to Chester cloud9:

The livestream gig they did is still available on Youtube and she did pretty well on there. A couple of times on some of the older tracks her voice sounded like it might be about to go but I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt and putting that to first gig nerves. I can't see the band picking a new singing without thoroughly testing them first given just how demanding those songs are.

You are never going to find someone who sounds like Chester but like I said earlier as a successor and new phase for the band I think she has potential. The real test is going to be the new album and the mini world tour.

The South Park 25th anniversary concert just popped up as a random video on Youtube (25 years shocked the hell out of me as well). While I knew Matt and Trey voiced most of the main characters it's still weird watching them on stage singing as Cartman and co. I was going to say it shouldn't be played near kids but at least one was in the audience and was brought up to the stage for one song.
