Thinking about it, the Star Trek transporter could potentially be more dangerous when it comes to Nick. I vaguely remember an episode where Kirk gets split into his good and bad personalities. Can you imagine the chaos an Evil Nick could cause....  scared2:

The flaw in your argument is your assumption that what we have is the "Good" Nick
