I ordered some Mini parts that I needed on December 13th... I akchoowly ordered a load of stuff around that time but somewhat inevitably it was the bits that were on the critical path that didn't arrive...  ::)

I assumed the parts had been caught up in the Xmas post and stuff so waited patiently until January 10th before chasing them up... the reply was: -

Your parts will be leaving tomorrow.
  ::)

Clearly, the order had been overlooked... still, at least they were on the way eh...?  cloud9:

But of course they didn't arrive... so I called them... "Oh, they took a few days in the warehouse but they have been sent by courier. I sent you the tracking details, I'm surprised you haven't got the e-mail"

But they still didn't arrive...  Banghead

So today I sent this: -

Hi Matt,

I haven't received any more e-mails from you, nor tracking details and more importantly the parts that I'm waiting for...

Is it safe to assume that this has been screwed up in some ridiculous way and the goods are never going to arrive...?

After all, I ordered on December 13th... after not receiving the goods  a month later you promised the goods would be shipped by courier on January 11th. It is now January 28th...

Is it best for me to consider it lost and re-order the parts?

Cheers

And the reply from Matt the Mong?

Our shop only deals with furniture and electricals, but our other shop down the road does other stuff - clothes, books, videos, DVDs, plates, cutlery etc.

To grab this stuff, one of their drivers drops "donation" bags to various areas and then picks them up a week later.

One of his bags today contained certain DVDs guaranteed to give anyone with heart problems an instant ticket to cardiac arrest!

Gorra laugh, but another mong!
