A friend of Lyn's sister has been in horse pickle for weeks...
He started to have problems with his tummy a couple of years ago... back and fourth to the doctor etc. and tests, scans but nothing was done...
Eventually he was taken in to A&E... I'll spare the details as it is irrelevant...
Anyway, he had a fucking nightmare in hospital... a endoscopy found nothing but when he collapsed the next day they operated and had to remove most of his bowel and fit a colostomy bag as 'his bowel was dead'...
He was on life support on and off...
They decided his kidneys had failed and he needed dialysis... They brought in a specialist to connect him up to the machine who managed to puncture his lung...
They removed his gall bladder...
They generally fucked him about until they decided he had 'a virus' which was consuming his internal organs... there was nothing they could do for him...
They decided he couldn't breathe for himself and it would be kindest to switch off the life support machine - the wife agreed and he died two hours later...
But all of that is not what has annoyed me...
What do you think they wrote on the death certificate eh,
