Been out for a pub lunch with the boys. ONe of them told us a fantastic tale.

He lives alone ins  a sizeable house in NOttingham and a few years back thought it would be fun to rent his spare room to itinerant actors. The first tenant arrived to stay for about a week, a rather grand lady actress with poor eyesight. He showed her to her room and en route she commented on his cat, which was brown. They both liked cats.

He returned to the kitchen and, on impulse, decided to crack open a large coconut he had won at a fair. He took a hammer to it and began banging. Laydee actress appears, sans specs, and declares, "I am not staying here a moment longer." SHe stormed off. A short time later he was visited by the police and the RSPCA.
