Owen Wightman I feel a bit of a heartlees bastard posting this, but I need to get the anger out of my system, I've seen to much of it
A piece of low life scum killed this little six year old lad at the weekend, he then stopped the car, checked it for damage, then drove off.
Although this is a horrible event, when I was watching the detective being interviewed on TV yesterday, and watching reports from the scene this morning I couldn't help but notice just how busy that road is. The lad was six years old, his friend who was crossing the road with him was seven years old, both far too young to be crossing that road in my opinion.
The times I've seen little kids crossing busy roads, riding bikes on them, running 50yd's in front of their parents, and each time I shake my head and mutter "no way my kids would have been allowed alone on a road like that"
The parents must be going through a hell I cannot even begin to imagine, but at some point they will ask themselves should he have been there?
As for the low life scum, I cannot think of a legal punishment that befits the crime
