Conspiracy Theories
« on: July 02, 2011, 06:14:09 AM »
I know I can be a tad cynical sometimes but this whole Dominique Strauss-Kahn debacle seems very bizarre. Initially the prosecutors had 'rock solid' evidence that this maid had been assaulted including DNA .

Quote
In a letter submitted to the court prosecutors said that the maid gave false testimony to a grand jury, omitting the fact that she cleaned another room before alerting a supervisor to her claims of sexual assault.

Well I never  - what a surprise that must have been to the courts  noooo:

Now they have managed to 'uncover' links to drug dealing and money laundering  ( the maid of course not Mr Strauss -Kahn)  lol:

How very convenient  rubschin:

I appreciate the meeja were hanging Mr DSK before any trial and were fed just enough information from the police to be able to make those kind of assumptions. Also that there are people out there that will try and ruin others for the sake of money, politics, power etc   noooo:  . Maybe it is Sarkozy's doing  whistle:

The only thing that comes out of this is that it smacks of corruption   noooo:

I was thinking the same thing yesterday... something not quite right about it all...

of course it makes a big difference if you have endless amounts of cash to throw at your defence team... I'm sure a normal Joe would have been convicted by now... but then perhaps a normal Joe wouldn't have been accused of it in the first place....  rubschin:

A bit like premiership footballers are accused of rape or similar and within a few days charges are dropped or statements retracted. Now far be it from me to suggest that money changes hands... but ... I suspect money changes hands  ;)

Right at the beginning of the story I did suggest a conspiracy to oust him from the job that a certain G Brown fancied and Sarkosy was all for him getting ...... until Cameron put a block on it. whistle:
