I see there are calls for safety measures after the pile-up in Kent. There have been calls for lighting and speed restrictions on a bridge in Kent where 130 vehicles were involved in a series of crashes in thick fog. The operative words are "thick fog", if drivers used a bit of common sense and changed their driving to suit the conditions then this wouldn't have happened. Also there were reports of some vehicles not having lights on. I'm not sure who's worst, those who call for more safety measures, restrictions etc. every time something like this happens, or those that obviously need to be told how to do anything.
I was working from home yesterday afternoon with Skynews on in the background and they were talking to an "expert". "So then Mr Expert, what was the cause of the crash""Oh, the weather". Mute button was engaged from that moment
Surely they should just ban fog as one of the lessons learnt
