Nodders
« on: October 08, 2012, 09:47:01 PM »
My local booze away shop sells some random stuff as well as booze.
Bread, milk, biccies, tea bags, coffee, baked beans, the list goes on, oh, and nodders. lol:

Decided to pick up a box of 'em tonight and lobbed 'em on the counter all  nonchelantly like, for the gafferes who I have mucho banter and ranting  with, to scan.

Her face when she saw them and then looked at me, and back at them was an absolute picture of hilarity happy001

I just picked them back up to place back on the shelf and said..."I bloody wish"!! whistle:

I think JOM was making the point that few people outside Scallyland would recognise 'nodder' as a contraceptive.
He offered a more general word 'johnnie' to which I added some other regional variants.

Not too hard to grasp, as Nick will know.

"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!
